REFUND & RETURN POLICY

The Maijo Daro brand was established to help to promote extreme artisanal talent practiced in various regions of the world throughout the ages using traditional handmade techniques and artform. We are especially keen to support women, children and minorities in underdeveloped regions in order to help communities grow and prosper. We work closely with traditional artisans in order to bring to you products that have a rich history, culture and story behind them.

The products sold on our website are made by hand and each piece is special showcasing the talent, love and hard work of the artisans. We only carry merchandise that is authentic and handmade by artisans based in their towns, villages and hamlets using traditional hand cutting and hand stitching techniques.

These products, however, are not entirely free of human workmanship errors. Some of these errors may include, but not limited to, the end product, i.e., quilt and/or art quilt, having tracer marks, slightly lose threading, incomplete threading, alignment mismatch, uneven cuts, slightly damaged cuts and pieces, smudge marks, smear marks, small tear, repair work from tear, running color, fabric tightening, design and/or color mismatch, design and shape errors, wavy cloth, stitches, shape or design, shape differences, missing and/or damaged cuts or pieces etc. These errors are because these are made by rural female artisans who work intermittently on making them while at the same time doing their regular house work, taking care of family, raising children, working the fields, cleaning and cooking food etc. 

The above mentioned errors add a unique touch to the product and enhance its handmade pedigree and authenticity. Such products will not be considered for refund or exchange.

Also, products subject to distressing as part of styling, hand-painted and/or produced using organic dyes are subject to increased chance of ‘flaws’ and may wear out faster than run-of-the-mill, commercially produced goods. Also, the color of the products as show on our website may differ from the ones that you physically receive when you purchase the same due to photo shoots and computer graphics. All such items and products will not be considered for refund or exchange

Hence, give all of the above, there is no refund and no return for the products that you buy from our website. Therefore, by making a purchase on the Maijo Daro website you acknowledge you have read, understood and agree to the No Refund & No Return Policy as stated herein.

However, if any product or item arrives broken and is not useable or is different from what you ordered online, we will be more than happy to either refund you or exchange it with some other product or item of ours of the same value as per your desire provided you bring this to our notice within 24 hours of having received the product by emailing to us on info@maijodaro.com.
